Frequently Asked Questions

When I took the tests, no matter what I said, the score was always "right". How can it that be?

I think there is a procedural issue here regarding the "always right". The system uses the microphone only for timing. It does not use speech recognition to score the answer. When speech is detected the status should change from Ready to Score. You then score the response using the mouse as shown below:
  • Left -> Correct
  • Right -> Wrong
  • L+R -> Ignore the whole item [used when there was a problem such as improper detection]

When the item has been scored the status should display the scoring for the item. You have a couple of seconds to correct the scoring by pressing the appropriate mouse buttons again.
