Use Previously Developed Experiments The Cognitive Aptitude Assessment Software is delivered with a variety of previously developed experiments. You can use these already developed experiments to quick start the development of your own experiments.
Say for example, you want to develop a word naming experiment. You could simply activate the already developed word naming experiment in the Designer module, substitute your own stimuli, change instructions, timing, and so on to fit your own needs, and presto, you have an experiment that is ready to run with little effort on your part. Examples of Included Experiments Text Presentation: Sentence Understanding A sentence appears on the screen - participant speaks word. Pictured above is the CAAS module while a sentence task is being administered. In this task the object is to select the word appropriate for the sentence by speaking it into the system microphone. Sound in a WAV File: Phonological Awareness 2 words played through speakers - participant decides if they rhyme. Picture in a BMP File: Mental Rotation Two pictures appear, one rotated - participant decides if they are the same object. |
